1337.0. "Accomodation in Tel Aviv" by SAC::LANG_H (Button up your overcoat) Fri May 14 1993 14:38

    Hi,

I am planning a visit to Tel Aviv from 30th Aug for a
fortnight...can anybody supply me with details/phone numbers of reasonably
priced appartments in Tel Aviv (the Hotel accomodation is just a bit
too much for my pocket at present).

    Thanks for any help.

This is a busy topic isn't it!!

Okay, we are now thinking of going to the Hotel Ami in Tel Aviv..can
anybody say whether its good/bad/indifferent/built yet?!!!

I know it'll be a subjective answer, but all we're looking for is
somewhere thats clean and tidy with no extras (ie: pool)

    Thanks again

This reminds me that the first time I went to Israel as a teenager
with a youth movement we stayed in a hotel that was in the red light
district. Looking at the girls in the lobby I would not have described
    it as 'clean' :-)

You could say that it had optional 'extras'...

I'd recommend you post your question in the NACAD::HOLIDAY_TRAVEL notes
file. I'd like to see a base note about travel in Israel, generally.
    That could include your query.
