Today's news reports that 2 Israelis - inspectors for the Nature
Preservation Society - were shot and wounded by Arabs who then
fled in a truck in the direction of Hebron.

6 persons were stabbed - 5 highschool students and the principal of
the school. The wounds were light to moderate.
The Arab terrorist was almost beaten to death by the high-school
students after being tackled by the principal who was stabbed. He
was carrying 2 copies of the Koran and shouted 'Allah is great'
while on his rampage.

You're falling behind.
Two hours after the shooting at Bet Guvrin this morning at 05:30, a Jewish
resident of Sussia in the South Hebron hills was stabbed by an Arab.
Fortunately, he was only lightly wounded.
The Arab was found afterwards to be carrying a hand grenade on him, as well
as his knife. Maybe he had it as a lucky charm.

| The random and recurrent pattern of this violence seems to be
reminiscent of that which occurred between Nov.1947(the REAL beginning
of thr war) and May 15,1948. Could this be intentional?

A 49 year old Jewish resident of Ashkelon, Yehuda Gavai, was
stabbed to death by two Arabs in the Jewish settlement Nisanit
north of the Gaza strip.
Gavai brought the 2 workers to Nisanit to work on a house he was
building there for his family. There were other Arab workers on the
site at the time who witnessed the stabbing and reported it to the
Army. The murderers forced one of the other Arabs to drive them
away from scene.

Eli Gloikov, age 26, was stabbed in the back while jogging last
night on the 'promenade' in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of
Jerusalem. He reported that while jogging he heard someone yell
Allahu Akhbar and was then struck in the back. He is in stable
condition after losing a lot of blood and undergoing surgery for
removal of the knife.

| Shaya Deutch was murdered yesterday by an Arab employee (or ex-
employee) in his greenhouse in Gush Katif. Shaya was drinking
coffee with an Arab guard whom he also employs, when the attacker
came and asked to speak with Shaya privately on money matters.
The guard left and minutes later saw Shaya crawling away from his
greenery after being stabbed several times. The murderer got away
but his identity is known.
Shaya died before reaching the hospital. H"YD.

This morning, 2 traffic policemen were found shot to death in their
car near Hadera (south of Haifa). The police claim that the victims
were ambushed and are convinced that this is once again the work of
Arab terrorists. They have not released more details as of the
last report I heard before coming to work.

2 Thailand volunteers were atacked by 3 Arab terrorists while they
were working in the green house in Hamra, a Jewish settlement in
the Jordan Valley. One of the volunteers was stabbed in the back
and head but is in 'good' condition this morning after being
treated in Hadassah hospital.
