                         BENEFIT FOR MOSAIC
    
       You [in the Boston area] are all invited to Attend a benefit
       for an organization called MOSAIC.
    
               This Thursday evening June 4th, 7:00 pm. 
               At Young Israel, 62 Green Street, Brookline.
           
               (Green st. is a side steet off of Harvard st.
               directly at Coolidge Corner, near the Coolidge 
               corner theatre).
    
       There will be:
    
       o Kosher Middle Eastern buffet. 
       o Imrovisational theatre piece from the:  one woman show 
           of Daena Giardella, about her very human experiences
           in Israel during the Gulf War, and in the "safe room".
       o Woodwind Duo Alex and Mimi Stillman
       o Yaakov Levy (Israel Counsul General to New England Region)
       o Raffle of an array of services and other prizes.
    
               Tickets are $25 (including one raffle ticket)

       Mosaic is an organization which does work, to counter the 
       sometimes subtle, sometimes not to subtle "demonization" of 
       Israel in the various arenas in which this is currently 
       occuring. 
    
       While CAMERA deals more with the media, MOSAIC is does work  
       in such areas as changes being made to elementary and 
       secondary history cariculi; (Many of which are becomeing 
       more and more revisionist in nature..by omitting key events 
       and changing others.) 
    
       In addition MOSAIC counters [This non-productive and anti-
       semitic (in my view) pheonominon by attending seminars in 
       universities which often equivacate Israel with totalitarian 
       regimes around the world**.
    
        
       ** Not long ago, a "left leaning" conference was held in MIT
       ...in which some noted Skinheads (!)where also in attendance 
       ...clapping with joy, along with the rest of the audiance at 
       every connection and  comment made by speakers indicating how 
       "horrible" Israel really is (!)...For me it was an experience 
       in psychological abuse... 
    
    
       MOSAIC is non-partison on Israeli politics. Our members' views 
       cover the gamut from right to left and visa versa...
