1212.0. "Israel's "Quality of Life"" by ERICG::ERICG (Eric Goldstein) Mon Apr 27 1992 16:05

According to the following, Israel has the 18th highest "Quality of Life" in
the world. Considering that the source for this is the United Nations, that's
not bad. (And if income were removed from the list of criteria, leaving life
expectancy and education, we'd probably be a lot higher!)

Without the weather that we had this past winter, Israel might have ranked
higher. The average temperature during the last few months certainly was mean!
