    I am the Chairperson of the National Tay Sachs and Allied Diseases
    conference being held in the Boston area in May 1992. (Right in the
    middle of DECworld!)
    
    We hold a silent auction as a fund-raiser, and I am looking for donated
    items to be auctioned.  Autographed sports items, childrens toys, books
    and clothes, hand-made items, gift baskets, art work, anything that you
    think other people might want to buy.
    
    We are also looking for donations to help bring families of affected
    children to the conference. 
    
    For those interested in the current status of genetics research,
    especially as it affects Tay Sachs and other storage diseases (such as
    Gauchers), you are welcome to join us at the conference.  Please
