Unless things have changed over the last year, there are no Kosher
    eating facilities in Reading.

During the period that I was traveling to Reading (DEC Park), I found
it most convinient to reside in London and take an early (7:00 - 7:20)
train to Reading in the morning.

There are lots of Kosher eating facilities in London.

    Hello Chaim,

I think you mean 'public' as I go home each night to kosher eating
facilities :-) I also know of a few others :-)

Seriously (???), The Ramada should be able to provide kosher meals if
arranged far enough in advance and the arrangements are explained to
them in sufficient detail. There is an organisation called "Hermolis"
that make Airline kosher meals that offers the facility to send them
to distant parts. All the same, I'm sure a far more enjoyable stay
would be achieved by dining out in the ever changing Kosher restaurent
scene in London each night, the only disadvantage being the travelling.

For visitors staying at the Ramada you might be interested to know that
the Reading Shul is less than 5 minutes walk away. It is in Goldsmidth
Street which is situated along the Oxford Road (away from town), 3rd
left into Russell Street and then 1st right. If you're here for the
weekend the are services Friday night, Shabbath morning and evening.
