1078.0. "Jewish Exchange Student looking for 1991 US home." by PROSE::CLOUTIER () Thu May 30 1991 00:04
My wife, who is affiliated with AIFS Scholarship Foundation, a
non-profit educational organization in the United States, is looking
for a family in northern Massachusetts, specifically the Chelmsford,
Lowell, Townsend, Pepperell, Dunstable, and Dracut area, or the
southern New Hampshire area (specifically Nashua), who would be willing
to host a high school student from Israel during the 1991-1992 school
year.
Ayala Zafrany, 17 years old, from Ashkelon, Israel, is looking to
come to school in the United States for the upcoming year. She is
very interested in cooking, and loves music, movies, and drama.
She is also a smoker, so you might want to consider that before
responding.
Ayala's insurance and travel arrangements have been taken care of,
and she brings her own spending money. The only financial commitment
for a host family is to provide her a bed and meals.
A host family does not need to have teenagers themselves, and single
parents with children at home or retirees with no children are
encouraged to respond.
There are other Jewish students anxious to spend a year in the
United States.

can send me mail at DSSDEV and I'll try to answer your questions.
