Might anybody help ? My girlfriend and I relocated to Boston from Jerusalem for a period of four to six months. She is a Pharmacist. We tried to find her some interesting occupation like volunteering in a big hospital where she can work in her profession (or something close) and also be able to learn from what a big hospital can offer (she does not have a green card so we did not look for a "real" job). We tried to ask some hospital's personnel and volunteering offices, but things seem to move so slow, I am afraid we will be back before we get some concrete answer. I was wandering if someone knows anyone who... might help us speed things up so she can find something to do and I can concentrate in my work here. Any help or advice mailed to me will be very much appreciated. thanks, Eyal.

Project ROFEH which works out of the offices of the Bostoner Rebbe in Brookline always needs Hebrew translators to help Israelis who come to the Boston area for medical treatment. They help them communicate with the hospital staff, explain treatments, etc. This would give her some impoortant work to do and an opportunity to meet hospital professionals and meet the patients and their families who will also be going back to Ha Atrez. The number is (617) 734-5100. L'hit, Av |
