1064.0. "lashon hakodesh on DEC machines" by SUBWAY::RAYMAN (BIG Louuuuuuuu - PW Comm Meister) Mon Apr 29 1991 20:56

Does anyone out there in bagel-land have a hebrew font that would work with
DECwrite (or a similar product)? The fancier the better (i.e. caligraphy-grade)

I've seen things like that, but i've been told they are not for public
consumption.

thanx

wait a bissel. just a bissel -- and you'll see DECwrite Hebrew
	as a *product*

a bissele bissel or a groise bissel? :-)

I'm thinking of printing up some stuff for my wedding (7 weeks, 5 days hence)
(!!!??!!!).

  Lou,

I have the DECUS TeX V3 distribution, which comes with a Hebrew font.
It's not very fancy but may suit your purposes.

It is over a year later. Is anything available?

Yes. It even works. We sell it here.

Note well: ** You need a workstation equipped with Hebrew fonts to run
	it! **

If you want it for internal use, someone here can probably arrange
	for you to copy it.

What I need is to occasionally include a Hebrew word in an English
document. In other words, I'd like to use the Hebrew font as an
optional font in American English DECwrite - rather like the SYMBOLS or
BOXES fonts. I neither need nor want the entire Hebrew DECwrite
    product.

Where can I look or who can I contact to see if this is possible?
