| Amy,
Mazal Tov!
There are some circumstances where the last day of the previous month is
Rosh Chodesh as well as the first day of the new month. The boundary between
Sivan and Tammuz is indeed one of these cases. Therefore, the day before
your wedding is Rosh Chodesh (so is the day of the wedding).
I don't know the details of fasting before a wedding and Rosh Chodesh, you
would probably be best advised to ask your Rabbi (does this sound familiar? 8^{)

Thanks for the responses... I think it is time to take the wedding
fast paragraph out of the program.
Hmm...

I am sure you are right, but which one :-)
- The one that I know from up here but will not be at the wedding
- The one that I know from Long Island and will be at the wedding,
but was never my Rabbi
- The one who my family is flying in from Israel to run my wedding
( he was a great family friend and Rabbi for many years)
Thanks again, (BTW: I read about this problem last night, too
late to call someone and I was hoping to find
out sometime this morning.)

| Amy, mazeltove!
I believe it's customery to talk these things over with the Rabbi who's
in charge of the wedding. You'll probably talk to him before the
wedding anyway.
Rosh Chodesh is supposed to be a woman's holiday anyway - as in
vacation from chores and stuff...an auspicious date for a wedding!
Good luck...

Thanks for the words, the wedding was great!! I did not plan
on fasting but ended up not eating much anyway... because
of time limitations...
