Last night I began my conversion classes (along with four other
people) at Temple Adath Yeshurun in Manchester, NH with Rabbi Starr.
We studied the Jewish calendar and also discussed halachic aspects
of the Holidays and Festivals.
There won't be another class until April 30 but I'd like to keep
studying in the meantime so if anybody has comments on the above
topics please feel free to reply.
I'll post replies to this note after each class in the future as
well. The topic for the next class BTW is "The State Of Israel"
followed by "Great Jewish Books".
It took me a long time to get here but I'm glad I made the decision.
