Hi All, I need info about other Jewish issues conferences. BTW...where is Jewish.soc.culture located? I tried DECWRL::"[email protected]" Yechiel Greenbaum but that didn't work (reply: no such connection...). Any help? Are there newsletter distributions re: Halacha or Tora research aso.? If so, how to get in contact with them? Thanks for your help, Dom Pls reply to NDLVAX::DKELLER or to this note.

The first address you tried, DECWRL::"[email protected]", is for the Judaic Studies News Letter. There is also a halachic discussion newsletter, mail.jewish. I post this in 75.* in this conference. If you wish to subscribe directly, contact Avi Feldblum at DECWRL::"[email protected]". soc.culture.jewish is part of the usenet. You can find out about the usenet from the following notes conferences: CLO::VNEWS (A news reader for character-cell terminals on VMS) UFP::XRN (An X/DECwindows based reader for Ultrix or VMS) UPSAR::NEWS-BACKBONE (Information on what nodes are serving news and the state of internal access to the usenet). The usenet used to be redistributed by mail. This capability broke some time ago and was replaced by a "real" usenet distibution system. This information was posted in a reply to an early request. The title is something like "Other Jewish Networks". PLEASE DO A DIR BEFORE ASKING FOR PREVIOUSLY SUPPLIED INFORMATION. Gav |
