Hi, My cousin asked me if I could ask the 'local'
Israel Deccies a question. Next summer she is going to
finish the forth year of her five year BS Electrical
Engineering program at University of California at
San Diego.
She has gone to a semester of college in Jerusalem
and LOVED it. She would like to find a summer position
in Israel. Already, she has already worked two summers (I think)
and part time this school year. All of these positions were
in technical fields.
Does anyone know what she could do to look for a summer
job? Does anyone know of some openings?

There is the
I.A.E.S.T.E = International Association for the Exchange
of Students for Technical Experience
They provide what you are looking for, though their offers certainly
depend on the places they are offered by the firms. They operate on a
world-wide basis.
Perhaps you or your cousin would like to see if you can get contacts to
the local office. I do not know any more where the offices are, etc.
(since it is already some time ago, in my case).
Sure, our collegues from Israel may have more specific information from
the country.
