| Shalom Carol,
The following recipe comes from a cook book on middle eastern cooking from
HP Books (I forgot to write down the title and author). I have not tried it
so can not vouch for its quality.
Gavriel

 cup fine to medium bulgur
1 small onion
 tsp. crushed dried mint
 tsp. ground allspice
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. pine nuts
2 tbsp. margarine (melted) (the recipe actually says or butter but not in this
conference 8^{).
Combine meat, bulgur, onion, mint, allspice, salt and pepper in food processor.
Process until doughy. Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Grease an 8" square or
9" round cake pan. Put of meat mixture in pan. Moisten hands and pat
mixture smooth. Sprinkle with pine nuts. Cover with remaining meat mixture.
Pat smooth. Cut into 1 inch squares or diamonds without removing from pan.
Brush with margarine. Bake 30-35 minutes or until firm and browned well. Serve
from pan or invert on a tray or platter.
Makes 48 appetizers.
