Hello!
I've entered Bagels only for a few weeks, but it seems to me very
interesting. I'm located in VBO (south of France). I would like
to ask if any jewish family could host my young sister-in-law who
is 15 years old and would like to know the U.S. and improve her
english. She would perhaps be more at ease if there was an adolescent
girl in the family. The period she could travel is one month during
summer school holidays (july or august).

If she's planning to be in the New York area over a weekend, she's
welcome to visit us for Shabbat. She'll certainly learn alot of
English - the extent of our French is "Je ne comprend pas le Francais",
along with "Bon appetite".

I have a friend and neighbor who may be a possibility for your
sister-in-law the family has five children ages from about 15 to
2. The father is originally from France and has been in this country
since he was about fourteen.
The family is shomer shabbos and live in a suburban community south
of Boston.

Hello Babeth,
We are with the DEC office in Hawaii (HWO) and have a 15 year old
daughter. If we could make the time work out it could be a great
experience all around. However, Elila is going to summer camp in
California (Camp SWIG, a jewish camp) from mid-July to mid August,
and her school here begins again in early September, so the time
window would be narrow.
We have relatives in California (Los Angeles) that could possibly host
her part of the time and then Elila could meet up with her at the
end of Camp and they could travel together here.
Sounds a bit complicated, but If you want to explore it, let
me know.
