| | The laws of eruv are quite complicated, and this forum might
not be appropriate for determining the details of your specific
situation. One of the world experts in the field is Rabbi Shimon
Eider, of Lakewood, N.J. (201)363-3965. To be absolutely sure, and
especially to satisfy the Orthodox attendees that the coast is clear,
I would strongly reccommend contacting him.
By the way, what is this conference, and am I invited??

| | It might be more practical to contact someone local, such as Rabbi
Naftali Horowitz (617) 566-9182 or Rabbi Dovid Moskovitz (617) 734-5359.
They are probably familiar with the facility, and are both highly
    regarded in the Orthodox community.

| | The conference is Noreascon 3, the 47th World Science Fiction
Convention, and OF COURSE you're invited. Just send me or Martin
    money.

So far, what I `know' (third hand) is that there are two techniques,
one Chasadic and one Orthodox, and one involves running a rope
around the building. I'll have the heads of programming make the
phone calls, but, just for fun, let's hear what y'all think would
    be involved.

| | I don't understand why it matters. If the members you are worried
about are Orthodox, why aren't they in Shul on Shabbat and not at
    your convention?
I am NOT trying to be cynical I'm really confused as to what is
    going on here.

| | Well, as I learned yesterday, one member of one of the groups (at
least?) is a rabbi. And the convention does run from 9 A.M. to
2 A.M. (or so) so a variety of activities does seem possible.
