671.1 | Lots of places | ACESMK::FRANCUS | Mets in '89 | Mon Apr 03 1989 13:43 | 16 |
| The FAC in Detroit is smack in the middle of the Northern suburbs
where all the Jews live. There is a deli called Sarahs on 10 Mile
Road just after the 10 Mile/Coolidge intersection.
Also many Farmer Jack Stores (especially the one on Southfield near
12 Mile road) has a wide selection fo Kesher stuff both cooked and
uncooked.
There are a number of take-out places most notably Sperbers and
Blooms which I believe has 2 locations.
I was in Detroit 2 weeks ago and had it as easy there as any place
in the US perhaps excepting NY and LA which have LOTS of restaurants

| I already replied to Monty off-line. To add to Yoseff's reply,
there's also a pizza-felafel place called Cafe Katon on Coolidge
near Nine Mile. Their pizza is the best I've ever had.

| Thanks for the replies.
I'll write a 'trip report' on Kosher Restaurants in Detroit when
I get back.
I'll put it in the relevant Notes Conference
TAV02::KOSHER_RESTAURANTS
where else :-)
