| Hi Chaim,
There were no adverts in this weeks Jewish Chronicle,
(my first one from the regular order I placed with the
new Digital shop!) will look again on Friday.
Have you tried the Jewish travel guide?

| Cb,
The two "best" KOSHER holidays in Bournemouth are
1. Hotel Normandie (Kedassia license)
2. New Ambassador (London Beth Din)
Has indoor swimming pool.
For those across the pond, Bournemouth used to be the nearest the
English got to the Catskills or Miami. It used to have a half dozen
or so Jewish hotels where people used to go to have a holiday and
eat themselves silly.
However, the relative fall in the price of airline tickets effected
them as people could start to be more adventurous.
Anyway, if you are in England for a weekend I recommend it as an
experience.
Regards,
....... Monty

| I think you will enjoy Bournemouth. I'm a bit partial to it as
I was born there. Try to make your way to the outskirts
of Bournemouth to the New Forest. They have wild horses roaming
about. There's lots of pubs/inns.
I would presume that Kosher restaurants would be down by the Boscombe
pier, in the hotel section. Any of the major hotels should be able to
help you out. There's a lot of foreign restaurants (e.g.
Indian and French). There's great shopping down in the square area
of Boscombe (downtown Bournemouth). There's also an information
center in the square. Buses run until at least 11:00 p.m.
Mary Shelley, author of "Frankenstein", was born in Bournemouth.
Have fun!

Interesting... The Bet Din where I came from also had an indoor
swimming pool. But they called it a mikveh.
