603.0. "An Invitation for Singles" by 29169::GILDER () Thu Dec 15 1988 16:32

This is an invitation to join a singles group. The group is
affectionately called the "Over the Hill Gang". This is a group
of singles who are 35+, whether they are single, widowed, divorced
    or separated.

There is a very good mix of women and men who come from different
areas of Digital. The group is very congenial and welcomes everyone.

Maybe this should be in the singles section (128.0) but I was afraid
it would get buried and not be seen. Frankly, there aren't very
many Jewish singles in the group. I, in fact, may be the only one.

So, if you're looking to make some new friends, go out and enjoy
others' company, or even if you would like to meet someone special,
    please come join us.

The group has just announced it first engagement. So, as its new
leader, I would like to make the group a little more diversified.

    Adriane,

Although I'm not over 35, I do have one suggestion to make....

possibly calling the group "THE APPROACHING THE HILL GANG"...I would
hate to think that when I turn 35 and up, I'm part of my parents
    generation! :-)

Sounds great! Where is the first meeting? Who's afraid
of 35+ anyway; life (really second, or maybe third childhood)
	begins at 40!

Yes... from an "Already Over The Hill" person.
