Speaking of visitors and an excuse for a  get together, I completely
forgot to announce my yearly post-marathon carbo-loading party (directions
attached).  I don't keep koscher: if this is a problem, get in touch and
we'll work something out.

Get onto Route 2. Exit at "Park Ave. Arlington Hts,"  third exit West of the
Alewife T-station (fifth exit East of Rt. 128).   At the stop light, turn
North onto Park Ave. (right if coming from Cambridge).  After less than 100
yards, take the first left-hand turn (the street sign says Cedar, Waverley,
but you can only go onto Waverley).  Proceed up the hill. If you pass the
fire station or the water tower, you've gone too far. 

160 Waverley is 1 1/2 blocks on your right. It's a white house with a
red roof. 

You can also take the 84 (Arlmont) bus from Harvard Square.  Get off at the
first stop after the bus turns onto Park Ave.  Waverley is directly across
from the bus stop. Don't take the "Arlington Heights" bus unless you like
walking a half-mile uphill.
