    	Hello and Shalom!
    
	As you have noticed, BAGELS has recently moved from
	RAWFSH to IAGO.  The reason for this move is that
	I'm leaving DIGITAL and wanted to make sure that BAGELS
	continued to be available for everyone to access on
	an unrestricted and secure node and I'm very confident
	that Dick Schoeller can provide both of these.

	When I first joined DIGITAL three years ago I was impressed
	by the amount of notesfiles available to the DIGITAL workforce.
	At the same time, however, I couldn't help notice that
	there was no place for DEC's Jewish population to discuss
	issues pertaining to Jewish thought and culture.  Since
	BAGELS inception I've watched it grow in every way imaginable
	and have been very satisfied at it's reception.  Expectedly
	there has been, and always will be, controversy within and
	without the file.  It was my hope that non-Jews would become
	involved with BAGELS and actively participate and am glad that
	this too has happened.  

	I'd like to take this time to thank everyone whose made
    	BAGELS what it is today and hopefully brought more recognition
    	of Jewish culture to those parts of DIGITAL that are open
    	to such enrichment.

	I have been informed by Rick LeVine that the that Motti gave me was wrong. Here is the correct address and a description of what happened down there: DECWRL::"IHNP4!ANVIL!ES!MIKE_MAHLER" He got a call from the system manager there; the first day he got about 100 messages (I guess a lot of people like him despite what a pain in the a*s he can be ;^) ) which went into the "reject" bucket and had to be sifted through.
