I have friends who have a son (in his forties) and daughter-in-law moving to Mobile Alabama.. Anyone know what the Jewish community there is? Will this be a good move for him?

Anyone know what the Jewish community > there is? Will this be a good move for him? I was there three or four years ago. I remember that there were two synagogues there: Conservative and Reform. Neither had daily Minyan. If I remember, the Reform is Friday night only, and the Conservative is Friday night/Sat AM only. There's a store which has some Kosher packaged deli. Not a huge Jewish population, and not (on the whole) observant. I don't know if this is positive or negative for you! /don feinberg | |||||

According to my information, Mobile, Alabama has 1,200 Jewish People. Add that to your info/decision tree. Eli |
