342.0. "Rabbi referral" by MAGIC1::GRACE () Wed Aug 12 1987 00:10

    Anyone know a rabbi in the south shore (Mass) area that could be
    recommended. We're planning for late October or early November.
    Conservative or Reform is fine. We're both Jewish.

342.1I know of one in Sharon who might not be busyIAGO::SCHOELLERGavrielWed Aug 12 1987 11:187
    Try Rabbi Barry Rosen in Sharon.

    He was formerly the Rabbi at Temple Israel (Conservative). As far
    as I know he still lives in Sharon, on Indian Pipe Lane (I think).

    Le'hitraot,
    Gavriel

    Barry Rosen has just moved to the Philadelphia area. His replacement
    at Temple Israel is Barry Starr.
342.5Need Rabbi, not for a weddingCADSE::FOXim lo achshav, ei matai?Fri Nov 03 1989 12:5719
	I need some advice from a Rabbi concerning a family
problem (which I don't want to discuss here). I'm looking for
input from a Jewish Law -- Ashkenazic Tradition perspective (in
other words, I'm not looking for therapy). It would help if
s/he had some experience in problems of the elderly.

I live in Brookline, Mass, and work in Chelmsford (Lowell area),
so would prefer a referal near to one of those.

My personal orientation is towards the Conservative/Reconstructionist
movements, but a referral to someone from the Reform or Modern Orthodox
movements would be considered.

You can reply here or in mail.

Thanks -- and Shabbat Shalom!

Perhaps Rabbi Gold (Conservative) at Harvard Hillel or the Bostoner Rebbe?

I'd second the above recommendations, and don't be put off by the Bostoner
Rebbe. I'm not a Chasid of his, but I did get some exposure to him when I
worked for him ten years ago. The man is a wonderful counselor/therapist.
Only problem is that he is spending half his time in Israel now.

    Bobbi,

    The Bostoner Rebbe is now in Brookline. He will be here until after
    Purim (except for a few weeks in Fla. in January). Try him at (617)
    734-5100.

342.9Rabbis in Southern NH?AWARD::COHENCELTIC PRIDEFri May 28 1993 18:166
Hi!
	I am looking for a Rabbi who will perform a mixed marriage in the
southern NH area (most likely in Nashua or Hudson). Does anyone have any
recommendations?  Thank you very much!

342.10Rabbi Press in Haverhill MAKALI::MCCRORYTue Jun 08 1993 03:124
    My husband and I had a Jewish/Catholic wedding. The Rabbi was
    Rabbi Allan Press in Haverhill, MA. He was very helpful and had a
    beautiful ceremony.
