332.0. "DEC Billboard at Ben Gurion Airport" by GRECO::FRYDMAN () Tue Jul 28 1987 10:51
I returned last week from a visit to Israel. After our flight over
and spending time finding all my baggage, we loaded up the taxi
for Jerusalem. As we were leaving Ben Gurion Airport, the first
billboard was a greeting from DIGITAL. I felt doubly at home; however;
since the taxi driver was going too fast (as is typical), I couldn't
read the message. Could someone in DEC, Israel provide the messages
(both front and back).
Thanks,

332.1 | AIRPORT BILLBOARD | TAVMTS::WIESEL | | Thu Jul 30 1987 05:07 | 20 |
| Hi Avi,
Here is the information from our marketing comm. manager:
The Digital billboard on Ben-Gurion airport is there for already more
than a year. It costs quiet a lot. We were the first to use this spot
and the intentions are to stay there.
On one side (facing those who exit the terminal) it says on a bacground
of the global map: "THE digital THINKING ALL AROUND THE WORLD" hinting to our
current campaign called: THE digital THINKING.
On the other side on a background of thinking bulbs it says:
ON A SECOND THOUGT...DIGITAL. This was the slogan in our previous campaign
(it was shortly after DIGITAL - THE SECOND BIGGEST COMPUTER COMPANY IN THE
WORLD was the corporate-wide campaign).
Next time you shold watch that your taxi driver will drive slower. These
guys are dangerous. And why not show up here in the building?
