I ate my first Whopper yesterday.
The owner of several Burger King franchises in the Rochester, NY
area had a great idea to raise money for the Rochester Hebrew Day
School: "Kosher Night at Burger King".
Kosher night is held at a brand new, unopened Burger King
restaurant. The menu consisted of Whoppers, french fries, salad
bar and soft drinks. The whole thing was under the supervision
of the local Vaad.
There was a large crowd and everybody seemed to be having
a good time. I wish I had brought my camera to get some
snapshots of local orthodox figures obviously enjoying their
Burger King meal.
