No joke.
The Globe reported a week or so ago that Glick signed a contract with
another Boston radio station (dunno which one, maybe WHDH). Because of
a clause in his old contract with WBZ, he won't actually be on the air
again for a year.

| Wasn't strange that his show was on in the late afternoon? I thought
that would mean the death knell for his show. He's a NIGHT-TIME
personality. I used to listen to him with my little earphone and
a crystal radio in 1963 when he was on WMEX 1510. Anyone else go
back that far.
He does his hypnotist shows still around in various locales.
This is connected to Bagels 'cause we all now if had a computer,
Larry would be a regular on Bagels

| Re: .2, I don't go back that far with him, but I remember listening to
him in my car in 1974. I was on a hilltop south of Chapel Hill, North
Carolina waiting for my TV station to go off the air at 2am so I could
do maintenance. A little taste of home drifting down on a warm summer
wind with the stars winking in a black sky.

| I'm misty! It brings back memories of being at home with my family.
I can smell the left over morsels cooking on the stove even now.
Do you think he's tired of the grind? I wouldn't blame him if he
did!
I wonder where we can write him? Anyone know?
