-<Holocaust Memorial Week>- PBS (channel 2 in the Boston area) will be showing SHOAH in four parts starting tonight (Monday 4/27/87) and concluding on Thursday 4/30/87. This film is a 9 1/2 hour documentary on the Holocaust. It is comprised of recent interviews with survivors of the camps, historians, nazis, and villagers who lived near the camps at the time. This film is extremely well done and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has not yet seen it. I believe it airs at 8PM on each of the four nights. I seem to remember there having been a more detailed discussion of this film in an earlier note but when I went back to find it I was not able to. If anyone recalls the number of that note please feel free to post it here. --Janet

I am taping the entire thing. If all goes well (nobody pulls the plug, moves the antenna, etc.) I should have a complete copy on two tapes if anybody should wish to borrow it. I have also seen the tapes available at a video renting store. David | |||||

I am also taping the the whole series. I saw this film last summer. If you have any interest in the Holocaust, and in the human (and inhuman) interplay involved, you MUST see this film. For better or worse, it will change your life... /don feinberg |
