271.0. "Wierd stuff in CACHE::CHRISTIAN" by MAY20::MINOW (Martin Minow, MSD A/D, THUNDR::MINOW) Wed Feb 11 1987 16:13
The Christian Notesfile CACHE::CHRISTIAN is discussing the New Age
Movement. Somehow, the Illuminati and Freemasonry got tied in.
This led to... Well, read the following, heavily abstracted, for yourself:

I know, and I care.
A close study of this movement reveals a distinct and solid connection
to the Illuminati and Freemasonry. Its political arm here in the
US is the Council on Foreign Relations and its offspring, the
Trilateral Commission. (Someplace in my files I have the mailing
addresses and phone numbers for both of these groups.) The religious
arm is in the National Council of Churches, the US affilliate of
the World Council of Churches. (You may have heard of the WCC --
they're the ones supplying money to the ANC, the people who brought
you Necklacing.)
....
Religiously, these people have penetrated all levels and denominations
of organized religion. They have penetrated and affected the doctrines
of Catholicism, Charismatics, Mainline Protestants, Pentacostals,
even Judahism, I'm sure (witness the growing number of synagogues
that have changed from Orthodox to Reformed).
....
And, by the way, even discussion of such a Movement is considered
paranoia in most polite company.

I also an familiar with the New Age Movement and the Illuminati.
I'm sure they're "holding hands" now or one evolved from the other.
My mother has a series of tapes from a man that was in the Illuminati
at the 6th level. The rest of the levels you'll find in the pyramid
on the back of your dollar bill (13 in all). Anyways, he was saved
out of the group and is exposing them with all he's got ! The
symbolism is amazing, especially with major corporations. Who knew
'76 gas stations received their name from the date the Illuminati
was formed in 1776 by Thomas Jefferson ? The 8 sides of the
Denny's sign ( 6 on sign, 2 on pedestal) are the 8 steps that
make a witch official, including a homosexual act ? Alistar Crowley
(sp ?) was a member of the private coven of the Rothchild family
in England and is also regarded as the most feared Satanist ! The
Rothchilds are level 13, just below Lucifer's eye and they claim
to be in constant communications with him !

| What, if anything, are those folks talking about? Never heard of
any of it!
I know of only one formerly Orthodox schul that is now affiliated
with the Reform movement, and that happened because over the last
15-20 years there was a big change in the membership, as more high-tech
liberal-minded Jewish people moved into southern New Hampshire, while the
original members, most of whom were close to retirement age, moved
away or died. Some friends of mine are members there. I'm sure
this has happened elsewhere, but I would have a tough time labelling
it as a "conspiracy" of any sort. It really isn't the same schul
anymore; it simply uses the same name and happens to meet in the
same building: there is very little overlap of membership.

| These guys are funnier than Woody Allen!
Seriously, I read the Illuminatus Trilogy; it's a cross between
science fiction and an LSD trip, with the context of the story (the
scene) switching in mid-sentence without a clue, as in a dream.
It's actually quite funny -- there's this guy with a submarine who
talks to this dolphin, and lots of sex & violins, and a mythos about
an ancient (sagans of years old) conspiracy which has in recent
years begotten Adam Weishaupt, who is the face on the $1 bill (looked
a bit like old George). Some masonic ties too -- the masonic emblem
(eye in the pyramid) is used as the Illuminati emblem too.
Anyway, taking all this stuff seriously is a bit like believing
that Shatner really _is_ Cap'n Kirk.

| This sort of mindless paranoia would be funny if it weren't scary.
Note that the level 13 Satanists are the Rothschilds. From there
it's just a short step to "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion"
and the Blood Libel.
