Can anyone enlighten me as to the Reconstructionist Movement. How
would one place them on a scale of orthodoxy. Beliefs and Practices?

    Thanks,

| The Reconstuctionist movement (to my knowledge) would find itself
in the spectrum, somewhere between Reform, Conservative, and
Traditional Judaism. I know that sounds silly on the surface, but
the movement was given birth by the late Rav Eliezer Kaplan (Z"L).
He wanted something that would be a compromise between the Reform
    and Conservative, and Orthodox movements.

I also think that the Reconstructionists were the first to pioneer
    women's participation in services, etc.
