| I was recently sent a note on the E-Net stating that there was a notes
file that I might find interesting. I began reading some of the files
and found that there are some folks out there looking for shuls in the
Nashua area. There is one Conservative Shul (Temple Beth Abraham
883-8184), and there is a Reconstructionist Shul (Congregation Betenu
883-3833).

| Hmmm I always thought that shuls that had the format of Temple **********
were reform ?

| Although it might be a bit of a shlep for you, my family and I go to
Agudat Achim in Leominster. I live in Groton MA. If you would like to
attend Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur with us you are welcome. (617) 448-2827

P.S. I don't know if there are any members from Nashua but there are from
Keene and Jaffrey.
PPS there is a shul in Lowell.

| I am fairly new to the Marlboro area and I would appreciate any information
regarding conservative shuls in this area.

| I attend a Shul in Worcester, which my family and I find very enjoyable.
It is a conservative shul with a leaning to the orthodox, rather than to
the reform. Being brought up in an Orthodox home, I find this shul very
comfortable. The rabbi is a survivor from Germany, and I think he is very
good. They do a great deal for the children in the congregation, and have
an excellent hebrew school. The name of the shul is Congregation (not Temple)
Beth Israel, affectionately referred to as BI. It is located just off Salisbury
St.

| Any shul-hunters are directed to two sources:
1. Guide to Jewish Boston (I think that's the title, it's available
in the Israel Bookstore in Brookline). It has been published
within the last year and contains information on synagogue location,
dues, practices, general ambiance, etc. for all of New England.
2. Second Jewish Catalog. It contains the Jewish Yellow Pages
which has a complete listing of synagogues in the US with
an indication of affiliation (Orthodox, Conservative,
Reconstructionist, Reform, or non-affiliated).
