683.1 | Upgrade | NEWVAX::DINARDO | | Tue Feb 11 1997 09:44 | 8 |
| You will need to upgrade to MCM v1.1. Does the customer have support?
We no longer support MCM officially but you are welcome to the new kit
if you would like to try it out.

683.2 | have to think about it | VELI::KORKKO | Veli Krkk @FNO, 879-5512 | Tue Feb 11 1997 16:52 | 17 |
| Does the customer have support? Well, who knows. They are in a
FM type contract and we (Digital OMS group) are managing their
infrastructure. They are moving towards MS-Mail and Exchange,
phasing Digital stuff out.
Those who did the MCM stuff originally, are not anymore with
Digital. They managed to escape some time ago... :-)
I guess this leaves me supporting whatever customer (like them)
with whatever problem whoever might have. Do I have support
might be good question?
I'll have to think about this.
Thanks, veli

| You can pull the kit off the network, see 10.last. You can probably
get a license from Fouad Bendris.

re: .2 - Harrumph; Last time I checked I was still here.
re: .0 - Yes, upgrade (but read the V1,1 docs FIRST).

| Dave,

I think .2 was referring to the people who delivered the MCM stuff at this
particular customer site, not you. :-)
