Hi,
    
    I have a customer haiving a problem installing SOFTWIN V1.0 PC
    emulator.
    
    I could not find this error documented in this notes conference.  Any
    assistance would be appreciated.

|We are running OpenVMS Alpha V6.2-1H3 on a new Alpha workstation 255.  I
|installed DEC AXPVMS SOFTWIN V1.0 PC emulator, and followed the directions
|for post-installation.  I got the following errors:

The installation guide offered no useful information on this error.  What
should I do now?

    Hi Rick,
    
    I ran the command file as System.  I also tried to simply copy the
    files
    using the extracted command, again logged in as System, and it gave the
    same
    error.  Can't say as I understand this.  Sure sounds like access
    rights, but
    System should have no problems.

    Could the answer be a poorly written command procedure and this error
    can be ignored by customers?
