If this is Cape Cod, then it is covered by Mass, law. title V states after the inspection of the septic tank and distribution box, the tank will be pumped. The inspection cannot be done more than 6-9 month prior to selling the home or more than 7 monts after the sale if it agreed to. So they have to pump the tank to be in complience and a record of this will be at board of health since it is required that all the honeywagons send this info on to the board of health as part of title V to catch people breaking the 4 pumpouts within 6 months rule. |
