c'mon George...you know INTEL RULES the semi market. A new plant of
this magnatiude will take 3 years to be operational and by that time
their Leixlip (sp?) plant will be obsolete and ready to be replaced by
the next generation!

..same area as the present one..Leixlip...It will bring total
employment from 2600 to 4600....
Cost to Intel $1.5bn..and to the tax payer...$80m....

| 4600 will make them the largest foreign employer in Ireland,
won't it? I'm happy for Ireland as it will help employment.
And strange as it may seem, it's good from Digital's standpoint
to see Intel spending all that money!
