I've a chance to get a custom made license plate
from a friend in Ireland. What's the format for
    either Cork or Galway?

    Thx,
    /george

p.s. I saw someone driving around Route 2 near Boston
    with a big "S I O C H A N A" sign plastered on the front
    of their VW Jetta. :v)

by format you mean what would a licience plate from either county look
    like ?.

    		YY-County-number inreg cycle .. ie

    		96-G-n (Galway-where n= a number between 1-9999 or
    		GAILLIMH

    		96-C-n (Cork)
    		CORCAIGH

Sometimes the dealers name is alos on the plate.

    i would suggest a Galway Plate !
