Ceolas and the Irish American Post have got together to launch an online
edition of the Post, available by anonymous FTP and World Wide Web. The
Post is a popular monthly newspaper which serves the Irish and
Irish-American communities of the midwest. The paper covers Irish-American
stories from throughout the midwest, news from Ireland, music, book and
arts reviews and announcements of upcoming events.

The current edition includes such goodies as music reviews (Temple record
releases, Narada Celtic Sampler, Phil Coulter), book reviews (Tim Pat
Coogan on the IRA, the picture guidebook "Ireland", a new novel featuring
Joyce's Leopold Bloom), Irish news (a new tourism plan, high-court
nominations) and lots else besides.

The online edition is available by anonymous FTP or World Wide Web from
the Ceolas archive site:
FTP: celtic.stanford.edu /pub/post
WWW: http://celtic.stanford.edu/iap.html

Since this is a trial edition, we need your feedback - comments,
suggestions, gripes, whatever. These can be addressed to:

Irish American Post: Dan Beimborn ([email protected])
Ceolas: Gerard Manning ([email protected])
