1422.0. "Standards of Living (Ireland and Northern Ireland)" by OPENED::LIBOVE (Felines 'R' Us) Thu Oct 06 1994 18:02
Note 1421 got me thinking about this:
What is the "standard of living" in both Ireland and Northern Ireland?
For example, what is the average income (pre- and post- tax) in the two countries?
Since that's likely to be a low number, what does it become if we restrict it to
college/university educated people with jobs such as those offered at Digital
Equipment Corporation on a salaried basis?
What are the tax rates, and approximately how to they break down in the two countries?
What is the percentage of home ownership in both countries?
What is the cost of a modest house (define modest) in the city, suburban, and
countryside areas of the two countries?
Etc...
