| You must get a news reader client - either xrn, mxrn, etc.
There's a notesfile on UFP::XRN that has pointers to all
the kits. I run mxrn under Ultrix.
After that all you do is access a server system that has the
news feeds. Our node "sousa" is one such system you can access.

| For news readers in Ireland, your nearest usenet news server is
DECUK:: (DECnet) or decuk.uvo.dec.com (TCP/IP).
The ClariNet service, from which comes the clari.* news hierarchy,
is a commercial service which costs Digital approx US$20,000/year.
The Network Systems Lab in Palo Alto, California, USA had been
generously paying this ... but can no longer afford it alone.
If you enjoy news, and especially if you can come up with a
business justification, get your cost center manager to contact
Brian Reid ([email protected] or DECPA::REID) to offer to assist
in paying for ClariNet so that we don't lose the service!
