1358.0. "Irish Cream?" by VANGA::KERRELL (Brace up for Bournemouth) Mon Mar 28 1994 03:27

I was lucky enough to be offered a creamy alcoholic drink last night, like
Bailey's only much better, which I noticed originated from Clonmel but failed to
remember it's name, can anyone tell me what it's called?

Did you send a nasty-gram to Mark to get him to retract the statement
    that was here this morning.

Anyway back to the matter at hand:

Is it Sheridan's (a sectioned bottle which has black stuff on one side
and creamy stuff on the other, which you lix together). It's another
Gilbey's concoction which they hope will emulate the success of
    Bailey's. It's not bad imho.

    Or O'Carolan's Irish Cream?

    Joe.

I tried some of this stuff recently, very nice. The only problem they have
marketing the stuff is that the bottle is considerably more expensive than
its contents...

I can think of another Gilbey's drink which is very similar, although
I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. I think I knew
the bloke who `invented' it, but I haven't seen him for years! (this
is really going to bug me until I remember)

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it, Mick. At least you know what's in
    it.

Go on! Give it a try!
