| There's a couple of free-sheets as well such as the Galway Advertiser
(which has very one or two good local chat columns and the rest ads)
The Word (covers nightclubs arts & ents, aimed at students and the
like, cover splurge is usually "Europe's only guide to the Galway
Entertainment Scene!!")
In Connaught there's also the Connaught Telegraph (Printed in Castlebar
I think), Tuam Herald, Western People (Printed in Ballina).

Joe: I think he might be looking for one of those "underground" type
free papers with the classified ads in the back section ;-)
"Young Irish Speaking Stud with German Sports Car seeks Irish Female
with strong legs and a good sense of humor. Must have own boat and
ability to bait hooks is highly desirable. Please include a recent
photo of your boat when replying."
