    Re .3 Evacuation Day

Mark refers to the day the British evacuated the port of Boston
during the American Revolutionary War (March 17, 17??) coincidentally
on St Patrick's Day. Today is a legal holiday in Suffolk County,
Massachusetts(Boston mostly) and is designated Evacuation Day.

Evacuation Day is the day the British were chased
  out of Boston.

Bruce, are you sure you haven't had your drink
  of courage already?

    Mark

Can't remember mentioning courage anyway being a Scot I drink Tennants.
If you were a Celt you would realise this. Something else confuses me
here Mark. How come you mailed me a few minutes ago. Something
wanting me to give a pull. Then you note me as well. Why not just put
    your mail in notes ??

Anyway keep evacuating your bowels in here we love it.

    Regards

    Bruce

Why thank you Simon, and the same to you. It is a lovely morning here
in Galway and there is a skeleton crew here in the European
Telemarketing Center serving those who don't take the day off. Afraid
    it might be busy.

It's a lovely sunny day here in Dublin too; very quiet, but the site
I'm on is working normally. No let-up in the work-load here! Worse, I
have a spot of tummy-trouble, and hence can't drink, so no Vitamin G
    for me this evening... :^(

    Cheers, Laurie.

It was very sunny this morning in Reading at about 0810.

My local pub, an Irish pub in Reading, is having a 'bit of a do'
tonight, including video horse racing. I shall be going for the
beer and the craic.

I am also supplying some of the music, Dubliners and Fureys.
