    	Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the coat of arms
    	for the Murphy family name?

    	Thanks,

    	Bob

    Try Mark Holohan.

He's the expert on all things Irish. If he doesn't know then you
    probably can't get one.

I have a book at home of hundreds of them (by Edward McLysaght).
Send me your mailstop Bob and I'll photocopy it for you.

    Bob,

If you're looking for merchandise with the coat of arms on it, most of
the larger Irish Catalogues (i.e. Blarney Woolen Mill) carry items.
With a popular name like 'Murphy' you wouldn't have any trouble.

Let me know if you want an address for the catalogue.

Thanks guys for the quick responses. George is going to take
    	care of me.

I needed it for a wall plaque we're giving to friends. The woodshop
needs the copy for artwork reference.

    	Again thanks,

I've got a beer coaster with the name Murphy's on it...

But I'll have to lift my pint up to remove it :*)

You could go to the Irish Cottage in Burlington Mall.

Maybe he could pick up a wooden board with a limerick inscribed on it
while he was there, to hang up on the wall.
