The Black Velvet Band are excellent. The lead singer was the girl who
sang all the best songs in "The Commitments". The BVB don't play
"Commitments" type music, but good rock. I have one of their cd's (the
first) and intend buying their latest.

They're just an average rock band, nothing special (imho).
