Hello, there is a traditional instrument shop at Cecil Sharpe
house which has a range of bodhrans. I'll post the address
tommorrow (if I remember to look it up !) and give you the nearest
        tube station.

	Hello, try:

	The Folk Shop
	Cecil Sharp House
	2 Regents Park Road
	Camden

I would guess Camden Town tube station (I don't know Regents park
	Road myself).

You might also want to try some of the big music shops around
type Charing Cross road / Soho area, as one of them might stock
	bodhrans.

    Therese,

If you run out of time or luck, I've got 8-10 bodhrans from Charlie
Byrne of Thurles. These are playing instruments, not for wall hanging.
Several still have some of the hair of the goat on them (not hair
    of the dog).

    Hi Kit,

    Where are you sited ?
The bodhran is for playing - I'm not great at it so I don't want to
    spend too much.

Thanks for the offer - got a bodhran in London (a Walton's one) and
    paid 65.
A friend here bought the same bodhran in Dublin (without the painting)
    for 40 (I think).

Anyway its already been played at a gig and its not a bad one !!!

A friend of mine is the North American Champion on the bodhran.
She gives lessons too. She can probably help you locate one.
I remember seeing a mail order store for traditional instruments
on the web. It might have been in the VIP (Virtual Irish Pub).
There must be a pointer to the home page somewhere in this conference.
