I will be spending around three months in Galway, Ireland, and will need
to rent / lease a furnished apartment. I will have a car, so it need not
be right next to the DEC Galway plant, though of course if it is within
twenty minutes driving my wake-up schedule and petrol-expenses would be
happier :-)
What can folks recommend for a decent (clean, in good physical condition)
apartment to rent / lease for three months (May, June, July 1993) in Galway?
It needs to be furnished, or else I also need information about companies
that will rent / lease furniture and any missing appliances (TV, VCR,
Microwave oven, ...?) and will deliver the furtniture / appliances and
then pick-up those things again at the end of the lease.

| Hi again - someone offered me a reference to a 2 Bedroom furnishes apartment
in the Salt Hill area, in Ocean Towers... is Salt Hill a nice area to
live? Does anyone know what Ocean Towers is, and what is it like?

| LEAPRECHAUNS KNOW THE PLACE
Jay,
Ocean Towers is an apartment block in an outstanding position
looking directly out onto the bay at the end of the promenade and at
the bottom of Threadneedle Road (expensive accomodation district).
To get to DEC from there is 10 mins max if you go up THreadneedle Rd.
and use the new bridge over the Corrib to skirt around the city.
The seafront (in Salthill) gets very busy during the summer and that
has its good and bad points.
This location is sited beside the Galway Golf Club (not the Galway Bay
golf club). and is also very easy to go west from there (into
Connemara) for the weekends, the craic, the porter, the talent, and
the sport.
Snake would have thought this o.k. for three months if the price was
right.
