In our town they are holding a Christmas Tree Festival....we decided to do a tree with an Irish Theme....is there any symbolic or traditional things they do in Ireland with regards to decorating their Christmas tree past or present?.... Mary

Well, Not with the tree itself, but one of the nicest traditions I found when I lived in Galway shows the practicality of the Irish. Instead of leaving cookies and milk, we left out a Guinness. Much more rational for a guy whipping around the heavens in the dead of night. Kit |
