1036.6According to Irish RootsSIOG::SPENCERPeter Spencer @DBO 827-2286Tue Oct 27 1992 11:0426
    According to the magazine, "William Patrick Hitler, nephew of Adolf and
    son of Dublin woman Bridget Dowling was able to claim in 1937: 'I am
    the only legal descendant of the Hitler family'." His Da was Alois,
    Adolf's half brother. Apparently Adolf's Da changed his name from
    Schickelgruber to Hitler. Pity, can you imagine 'Heil Schickelgruber!'?

    The magazine publishes the following family tree:

    					Johann Georg Heidler (?)
    Maria Anna Schickelgruber=
    		|			? Frankenberger (?)
    		|
    		|
