Dermot,
Have you gone into hibernation for the winter. Did you not hear that Clare
won th B Football All Ireland a few weeks ago. It went to extra time. It
actually was a good match.
Roll on Sunday. Cashel Kilcormacs are playing Middleton in the Munster Club
Hurling final. What a lovely winter treat. Match is in Mitchelstown.

Well there are a lot less on them now. All the money was spent on the
month ling party in Lisdoon.
I mean things have got so bad that Clare were beaten by Kerry ( In
hurling) over the weekend.
While I am on the hurling what is going on in Tipp. I mean getting
badly beaten by Offaly. The shame of it. Of course the Tipp people will
say that they are not used to hurling in a bog. But the pitch at Birr is
dry now. My comment is that Tipp are not used to hurling.
Of course while I am on matters Tipp what about Michael Lowry and is
allegations. Watch this space. There is nothing as dangerous as a
politicaian with his(her) back to the wall. I mean even a cornered rat
is friendly in comparison.
We will leave all comments on Limerick for another note.

To think that the only Munster county to win at the weekend was Kerry :-(.
Will there be any Kerry cows milked this week as a result. I think not!
A new world order?
James.

.Tipp beaten by offaly....Still it was played in Birr...and an air of
abject depression falls on the shoulders of any human venturing into
Birr...Strange breed over there..I recall a local judge in Roscrea
"barring" a few Birr folk from the town for 18 months..an argument over
a greyhound which the Birr folk claimed was drugged before a coarsing
meeting..It wasn't drugs that stopped it from moving..its was pure
drunk..
Limerick beaten by the Dubs..well well..maybe the Dubs are on the up
this year..Now that the kilkenny folk are legging it out of the county
(Eamonn morrisey to play for Dublin next year)..

| Limerick's defeat by Dublin has to be seen as part of the grand
strategy which will one day result in a Hurling All-Ireland for the
Dubs. That, I can state without fear of contradiction, is what the
game needs to revive and expand its influence outside the legacy
counties;-)
