| FInal score Ireland 3 Poland 3
Disappointing.....Ireland led 3-1 with 15 mins to go, and defensive
errors let the Poles in to tie it up. Townsend and Cascarino were the
other scorers for Ireland.
Come on Turkey!!!!!!!

| What happens now??
If Ireland beat Turkey and England lose to Poland (in Warsaw) Then
Ireland go through. If Ireland lose or tie and Poland beat England then
Poland or England go through, depending on goal difference. All England
need to go through is a tie.
Confused yet??

| Yesterday was a very interesting day in Irish TV.
On the one side we had the soccer while on the other side we had our
politicians making asses of themselves trying to chose new ministers
in the D�il.
I kept switching back and forth from one to the other.
In the political side a newly appointed Minister withdrew his name
for the post,leaving CHarlie Haughey in a very embarrassing position.
