962.0. "Boston Irish Trade Fair " by HILL16::BURNS (FILTE GO BAILE U BHEACHIN) Mon Oct 14 1991 11:30

The 4th Boston Irish Trade Fair takes place at the World Trade
Centre from October 18 to 20. Twenty-six Galway companies, and
a similar number from Derry, will be present at this year's
show, which promises to be the biggest and brightest yet.
There will two and a half times as much floor space as was
occupied last year and De Dannan will be providing the
entertainment. UCG, the IDA and Udaras na Gaeltachta will have
stands but there is a strong focus on tourism, fashion, crafts
and music. My former colleague Pat Mitchell is one of those
who will be looking for business at the show. You can read
more about his offering below, in the music section.

    Re: .3

Oh yeah, go ahead and pick on me while I'm in another country unable to
    defend myself!

Actually, I've been to this event twice and had a good time on both
    occasions, but....

Last time I took the T into South Station, I turned the wrong way on
Atlantic Avenue (50%50% chance and she still messed up) and wound up
walking back toward the expressway rather than toward the Wharf.

Gee, funny I didn't get lost in Australia at all :^)
